JUNE 2024 | JOB, PHD, PUBLICATION

In Fall 2024, I will start as a Harper-Schmidt Fellow and a Collegiate Assistant Professor at the University of Chicago.

On June 12, 2024, I successfully defended my dissertation. Eric Mandelbaum was my advisor. Stephen Neale, Dan Harris, Gary Ostertag, and Harvey Lederman sat on my committee.

My paper "Wanting is not Expected Utility" is finally out in the Journal of Philosophy.

FEBRUARY 2023 | PAPER, DRL, TALK

My paper, "Wanting is not expected utility" was accepted for publication by the Journal of Philosophy.

Shannon Brick, Michael Greer, and I created a reading group blueprint on feminist and experimental philosophy for Diversity Reading List.

I will present my paper "Metaphysics as exploration" at the 22nd annual CMU-Pittsburgh Philosophy Graduate Conference, which will take place on March 4th in Pittsburgh.

JANUARY 2022 | TALK SERIES

In Spring 2022, Shannon Brick and I will be filling in for Matt Lindauer as the organizers of the group for empirical approaches to morality and society (G.E.M.S.).

FEBRUARY 2021 | GRANT

Shannon Brick and I have been awarded a Hypatia Diversity Grant ($2500) for our project "Towards a feminist x-phi". You can learn more about the project here.

NOVEMBER 2020 | PRIZE

My joint paper with Shannon Brick, was awarded the best graduate student paper prize at the 2020 Binghamton University SPEL conference.

2021 | WORKSHOP

I will present the paper “Metaphysics: more an art than a science” at the workshop
“Between formal an informal methods in philosophy”, which will take place in Warsaw in Summer 2021 (exact date tba).

APRIL 2021 | SUMMER SCHOOL

I will participate in the “Law, Language, Philosophy” summer school, which will take place in Dubrovnik in April 2021.

JULY 2021 | SUMMER SCHOOL

I will participate in the “Representation in art and science” summer school, which will take place in Vienna in July 2021.

2021 | FELLOWSHIP

I have received Provost’s pre-dissertation summer research fellowship ($4000) for my project “Intentionalism and the simple view of intentional action.” It will fund my research in Summer 2021.
