about
I am a Harper-Schmidt Fellow in the University of Chicago Society of Fellows and a Collegiate Assistant Professor in the Humanities Collegiate Division. I hold a PhD in philosophy from the Graduate Center, CUNY, with a concentration in cognitive science. I also hold a law degree from the University of Warsaw.
My main research interests are propositional attitudes and their ascription, polysemy and homonymy, the folk concept of truth, and mental imagery. Other things I currently think about include the nature of philosophical intuition, Freudian slips, and veganism. My research draws heavily on empirical sciences, in particular linguistics and psychology. I also run my own experiments.
Outside of philosophy, I enjoy playing chess, swimming, cooking, and listening to popular and experimental music.
